Meet your captain
“Hey there, I’m Dawson – just your average Joe from the Midwest that has an unhealthy obsession with bass. Fishing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I’m always looking for new ways to improve my skills and land that big catch.
Being a budget-conscious angler, I’ve had to learn how to make the most of my gear without breaking the bank. Through trial and error, I’ve found some great tips and tricks that have helped me become a more successful angler, and I’m excited to share them with you on this blog.

While bustin’ the banks for largemouth is always a treat, the mountains are calling my name. Merle Haggard said something about being dropped off somewhere in the middle of Montana… I think I am destined for just that. Can’t wait to be plucking my dry flies out of the nearest bush.
Besides, the dinks need a break every now and again. In the meantime, I will do my best to post the typical mediocre blog post.
